Biblical Citizenship & the American Founding
The Bible says a great deal about the public square. So did the American Founders. The ecclesia was a word that spoke to a gathering of people who would make decisions, enact laws, and chart the path for how a community would operate. Jesus never intended the church to only affect church people inside the church. The call was always to disciple nations, not only convert individuals. We also know from Scripture that citizenship is something to steward and utilize. Paul was a Roman citizen, and he used it (Acts 22) for the advancement of the gospel. Your citizenship is a platform God gifted you, and intends for you to use. We’ll help you know the founding documents, the men who wrote them, and how to contend in culture with biblical authority and clarity.
Church History & Christian Doctrine in a Post-Denominational World
We go to school on the historic creeds, the great councils, and the doctrinal backbone most of us never had time to read on our own. Nicaea, 325. Chalcedon, 451. The Apostles’ Creed. The Reformation confessions. This is the family tree. You don’t have to agree with every uncle to honor the line. Athanasius stood against the whole empire for the deity of Christ. Augustine wrote The City of God as Rome fell. Luther stood at the Diet of Worms. These men are our brothers and we have much to learn from them. We stand in their line and share in their responsibility.
Answering Secular Ideologies
Marxism. Socialism. Secular humanism. These aren’t faraway ideas. They came home from college and are shaping every element of American society, including the church. Paul told the Colossians, “Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense” (Colossians 2:8, NLT). We’ll help you identify the ideologies destroying society, trace their roots and their fruit, and answer them from Scripture with clarity and conviction.
Support for the Jewish People and the State of Israel
The Bible opens with a garden and ends with a King returning to Jerusalem. Though many pastors know that, the question often becomes whether or not they’ll preach it with backbone when it costs something. God said it to Abram first: “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt” (Genesis 12:3, NLT). Later he said: “I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you. And I will give to you and to your offspring after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God.” That everlasting promise was never rescinded. The faith we preach came through the Jewish people, a Jewish Messiah, and from a Jewish land. The Guild stands with the Jewish people and the Jewish state, and we’ll help you teach your people why, from the text, from church history, and from what’s happening on the ground right now.

The Western Encounter with Islam and Jihad
For fourteen hundred years, the doctrine of jihad has been the most sustained military and ideological threat the Christian West has faced. Most of us were never trained to say that out loud. Islamic armies have conquered Christian Syria, Egypt, North Africa, Spain, and many more. Constantinople falls to the Ottomans in 1453. We’ll teach you the history, the theology, and the framework to lead your church through this moment without fear, without hatred, and without euphemism. The Guild will equip you to engage the fight with the greatest external threat our country has ever faced.
